On 8 and 9 September 2023 the HQ of Flash Battery hosted for the third time the students of the Master “E-mobility & Electric Powertrain” of Experis Academy for an in-depth masterclass on the topic of batteries
The two days of training saw Flash Battery‘s R&D team engaged in a formative lecture on the subject of industrial electrification applied to the battery sector, which, by its very nature, is in constant evolution, amid new chemistries, regulations and technologies.
The students had the opportunity to delve into 5 macro topics:
– The different chemistries on the market
– The structure and functioning of the Battery Management System
– Safety devices and the Flash Data Centre
– On-board, off-board and induction charging systems
– Sustainability in the field of batteries
Flash Battery’s R&D team supported the students for the entire duration of the masterclass, making its expertise available to provide the technical point of view of professionals working in the field of electrification and to answer the numerous questions posed by the participants.
In fact, the Master’s course aims to create highly qualified professionals in the field of electrification and sustainable electric mobility, and is aimed at engineers and technicians already working in the sector who wish to specialise and acquire additional skills in this area.
In this regard, part of the course focused on the characterising elements of Flash Battery’s lithium technology, explaining the more technical aspects related to the functioning of its proprietary electronics, such as the Flash Data Center automatic and real-time remote control portal and the intelligent BMS Flash Balancing System, which guarantee high performance, safety and reliability to our lithium batteries customised to the needs of different industrial applications.
Finally, the students had the opportunity to visit the company’s offices and factory, observing first-hand all the steps of the production process behind each Flash Battery lithium battery: from design to the production of the battery packs.
“It is always very stimulating to meet young people who are motivated and interested in acquiring skills in new technologies and in the major changes that the electric revolution is bringing in many sectors. The world of electrification needs trained and specialised figures who will respond passionately to the challenges of the near future”.
